Morning worship at the Methodist Church was a united service for churches together in Clayton West and Scissett. The Rev David Priestnall led the service and spoke about how winter turns into spring, in a new awakening, so our lives can have a new beginning with Jesus. This was accompanied by beautiful pictures of snowy scenes shown on the screen. Prayers were given by Lucie Froggatt and Beryl Holt following the theme. The Bible reading from John was read by Jane Hobson, who also played the piano. Stewards were Diana Hunt, who also gave a gift of flowers for the communion table, and Joan Bond. After the service Lucie Froggatt and Beryl Holt served coffee and biscuits. Read
