Racist burglary: Victim couldn't hear burglars enter because he had headphones on

Police have released more details about a burglary in Heckmondwike this week, where a man was knocked unconscious in his own home before waking to find racist graffiti on the wall.

“I would like to reassure the local community that offences of this nature are extremely rare. We are taking the matter extremely seriously and we have increased our patrols in the area,” he said.
