About Crosland Moor

Crosland Moor is a district of Huddersfield, situated one mile south west of the town centre of Huddersfield. According to the 2001 Census, Crosland Moor has a population of 9,085. The area of Crosland Moor also includes Beaumont Park, Walpole and Crosland Hill. Crosland Moor contains the now closed St. Luke's Hospital, which was originally a workhouse for the poor and needy of the area in the 19th century.
