Deighton

Deighton is two miles from Huddersfield town centre. It is served by the A62 road and also has a train station on the Huddersfield line which runs to Leeds. Deighton Carnival takes place in June annually and sees fantastic floats and costumes coupled with music. The area was home to businessman Lawrence Batley's pioneering cash and carry business.
