Robert Sutcliffe

Robert Sutcliffe began his career in newspapers editing a weekly newspaper in Doncaster in 1989. After five and a half years he moved to a reporting job at the Barnsley Chronicle, a position he held for a further three and a half years. In 1998 he joined the Telegraph & Argus in Bradford where he covered the Bingley area for almost three years. In 2001 he became Calderdale reporter for the Yorkshire Post, a position he held for 11 years. As a Huddersfield lad he finally joined his local paper in October 2012. Robert has won several major awards over the years including being shortlisted as Yorkshire Reporter of the Year.
