Actor and Giant among celebrity guests at ball
CELEBRITY guests turned out for a fundraising Hallowe’en party in Elland.
Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden, Huddersfield Giants player Eorl Crabtree and Greetland-based singer Nikk Mager were among the guests at the event at Bertie’s Banqueting Suite for West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust.
The Trust is planning to build a children’s hospice in Brackenhall.
The event attracted about 160 guests.
It was organised by Clare O’Connor, of Huddersfield, who runs Baby Ballet dance school in Halifax.
Entertainment included dance group Flava, semi-finalists in TV’s Britain’s Got Talent.
