Jam and cakes help new hospice
STUDENTS at Holly Bank School in Mirfield made jam and baked cakes to raise cash for the Huddersfield-based West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust.
The youngsters set up a confectionery stall to sell goodies at a coffee morning, which was held at the school earlier this month.
Their efforts raised £192 for the trust, which wants to build a children’s hospice and respite centre at Brackenhall.
Holly Bank School is part of Hollybank Trust, a registered charity providing education, care and often a home for children, young people and adults with profound physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.
