COMPANIES in Huddersfield have been urged to enter Britain’s top training awards.
The National Training Awards feature eight categories.
They include ones covering the use of technology, innovation, growth strategy and customer care, as well as ones for the employer of the year, entrepreneur of the year and the best small or medium-sized business.
Organisers will stage a regional awards ceremony in July, with the winners going to the national awards.
National award winners last year included Rolls-Royce, drinks firm Diageo and McLaren Construction.
Mike Faulkner, group director of the National Business Awards, said: “In the current economic climate there has never been such a heightened need to instil confidence in consumers.
“There is no better way for a business to send a positive message to its customers than by gaining recognition in The National Business Awards.
“We expect 2009 to be a bumper year for entries and look forward to a robust and hard-fought contest.”
