THOMAS Cook reported “considerable improvement” in summer holiday bookings as sunseekers snapped up 30% more trips over the past four weeks.
The holiday firm said summer trading was up across all its major markets year-on-year, while average selling prices also grew in the UK and northern Europe.
Turkey and Egypt continue to be the hottest tickets for UK travellers – with high quality accommodation and good value proving attractive.
