A HUDDERSFIELD man is among five employees to receive long-service awards from pneumatic products and process systems firm Thorite.
Brian Day, who is service centre manager for the firm’s Rochdale branch, received a wrist watch for his 25 years service from Thorite managing director Stephen Wright.
Other 25-year recipients were capital sales engineer Steve Bradbury, from Doncaster; sales secretary Ann Fox, from Bradford; service manager Duncan Holmes, from Halifax; and assistant accountant Chris Streets, from Bradford
Mr Wright said: “Although Thorite now employs over 100 staff, our growth has been created by the expertise, dedication and enthusiasm shown by individuals, so it’s a real pleasure to congratulate Ann, Steve, Duncan, Chris and Brian.”
The presentation was followed by a meal at the Aagrah Restaurant in Thornbury.
