A GROUP supporting manufacturers in Kirklees and Calderdale looked at how companies can go “green” by getting “lean”.

Calderdale and Kirklees Manufacturing Alliance focused on case studies from three companies when they met at the Briar Court Hotel, in Birchencliffe.

The event incorporated three case studies from local firms – WS Westin, Parkinson Spencer Refractories and Extract Technology – and looked at how they improved their performance.

The Manufacturing Advisory Service also provided an update on its financial support for manufacturing. There was also an update from Business Link.
