A PROPERTY developer based in the Holme Valley has won an award for excellence.
Brockholes-based Towngate Homes picked up another accolade for its prestigious Broomfield Avenue development in Halifax at the Local Authority Building Control West Yorkshire Building Excellence Awards.
The competition is organised by the building control services at Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield, Calderdale and Bradford councils.

A total of 11 awards were given to celebrate the excellence of building quality in a variety of projects from domestic extensions to commercial developments.
Graham Barber, site manager and winner of the Nation House Building Council Pride in the Job award, collected the trophy for the Broomfield Avenue scheme – which won the category for two or more dwellings.
