WHAT a difference a year makes!

I remember this time last season how we were preparing to play Warrington in the Challenge Cup final at Wembley.

It was an amazing experience and one none of us would have missed for the world – although we all wish the result would have been a little difference, of course!

But, at the same time, that Cup run also took a massive toll on the squad.

We were literally falling apart, with the bumps and bruises meaning our end-of-season challenge was poor in the extreme.

As a result, our play-off performances came as a massive blow for each and every one of us.

But it all feels so different this time around.

While we’d all have loved to have made a return to Wembley, we do feel as if we’re far more equipped to mount a serious play-off bid this time around.
