Leading the way was hat-trick hero Hefin O'Hare who gets better with every game and has now notched up 10 tries in nine games.
But also on 10 is acting captain Chris Thorman who scored once and landed eight goals - including several from the touchline - in another cracking scrum-half display.
However, with the likes of Chris Molyneux, Dave Atkins, Adam Hayes and the fit-again Matthew Walker all combining to destroy the Hunslet defence, the outcome was inevitable.
Within a minute it looked as if the Giants had taken the lead when Stanley Gene charged over, only to find that referee Steve Nicholson had ruled Thorman's tryscoring pass forward.
The Hawks responded by camping on the Huddersfield line for one set of six - without any reward.
And it was left to O'Hare to show the opposition how it should be done as he crashed over from acting half-back on the blindside.
Hunslet full-back Keiran Allen, whose brave efforts deserved far better from his teammates, kicked a 14th-minute penalty to reduce the deficit to two points.
But that was as close as it got.
Within three minutes Graeme Hallas, Atkins and O'Hare were all involved as Ben Cooper finished off in the same corner.
Then Eorl Crabtree quickly followed up to cross with ease after Thorman had split open the Hunslet defence with a mesmerising run.
Three minutes later Thorman was at it again, making ground from a scrum on halfway and feeding Cooper to scamper over for his second.
