Mar 30 2002 By Chris Roberts, The Huddersfield Daily Examiner
The introduction of Joseph in place of Stanley Gene failed to break the momentum, and four minutes before the break the youngster had played a key role in creating colleague Chris Langley's try.
Little changed after the break, with March, Reilly, Matthew Whittaker and Hefin O'Hare all racing over for well-worked tries.
The difference in the second half, however, was that the Hawks managed their sole try through Carlos Sanchez.
It was a fitting reward for their never-say-die attitude from start to finish.
However, they would be the first to admit that they were totally outclassed by the Giants.
At least they won't be the last!
