Before the interval, they managed just three tries.

After the interval, they chalked up seven, with the best saved until last.

Smith had stressed before the start of play that he wanted his side to go into their three-week break on the back of a solid performance, and with some very positive memories.

And the parting shot couldn't have been more spectacular.

He then fed debut winger Olu Iwenofu on the Huddersfield 20.

In no time at all, the former London flier was away, cutting inside the defence and quickly progressing to the halfway line.

Tries don't come much better than this!
