Six minutes later Grayshon was again to the fore with another punishing run which helped create the platform for McNamara to put O'Hare over in the corner with a perfectly weighted high kick on the sixth tackle.

Ben Cooper then had an effort ruled out after second-rower Heath Cruckshank's tryscoring pass was ruled forward as Huddersfield maintained the pressure.

And that pressure paid off for a fourth time with eight minutes of the half remaining when McNamara's short pass sent Grayshon galloping to the line for a thoroughly-deserved debut try.

McNamara landed the extras to bring up a century of goals for the season and at 24-0 the visitors were already out of sight.

A 45th-minute scare when Hunslet hooker David Mycoe was held up over the line was as close as the home side got to breaching the Giants' magnificent defence.

But it wasn't until the 73rd minute that Huddersfield extended the lead.

O'Hare's break from deep immediately turned defence into attack and Cooper, Moxon and Crabtree were all in support to carry on the good work and put Langley over.

In the absence of the substituited McNamara, Graeme Hallas added the first of his two conversions as his side finished with a flourish.

In the 76th minute Cruckshank's break set up the position for Stanley Gene to kick to the corner for Langley to pounce.

Then on the last play of the game, Cooper took a high ball close to his tryline and made valuable ground before finding O'Hare.
