Walker went in from dummy half in the 49th minute to spark a glut which continued through McNamara (who took advantage of Turner's break from halfway), O'Hare (who was set up by Cooper), Cooper (from a move involving Gene, Chris Molyneux, Heath Cruckshank and Dave Atkins) and Reilly (freed by Gene's adroit pass off the floor).

With McNamara having been withdrawn, second row Roberts added the conversions to the final three tries, by Walker, from Langley's pass in the 64th minute, Gene, after Reilly was held close to the line in the 72nd, and Langley, who went over after slick play by Jeff Wittenberg and Cooper with a minute to go.
