Giants 86 - Whitehaven 10. SIMPLY the best!
Magnificent Huddersfield Giants hit new heights with a stunning display of power, pace and passion to destroy outclassed Whitehaven and send another chilling message to the rest of the NFP.
There was also no shortage of skill and defensive endeavour as coach Tony Smith's side ripped apart a team that have set their sights on a top three finish after successive victories over Leigh, Rochdale and Hull KR.
The fact that Whitehaven remain the only side to take a point off Huddersfield this season - 12-12 at the Recreation Ground on January 6 - was always going to fire up the Giants.
But no-one could ever have imagined that payback time would have been so brutal.
Yet the significance of this result runs much deeper than yesterday's successful revenge mission.
It has sent another clear message to the Giants' NFP Grand Final rivals that Huddersfield mean serious business.
Quite simply, if the Giants continue to play at this level of intensity the other teams may as well give up now.
On their day, they are without doubt in a different class to every other side in the competition.
And Whitehaven have now discovered that to their cost.
