Within three minutes of the restart great work from Rob Roberts put Crabtree over for his second and in the 56th minute Thorman and Andy Rice combined to send Cooper racing between the posts.

Rice and O'Hare kept up the momentum by adding late scores as tempers began to fray.

McLarron completed the scoring with a last-minute Hull KR consolation.

But far more importantly this contest will be remembered for the Giants' return to form.
