Giants 22 - 30 Broncos. Sad Giants' worst display

And once London had soaked up the pressure, the tide began to turn.

With the Broncos having been handed a new lease of life, they struck the killer blow with nine minutes remaining.

Once again it came from a high kick, this time to the opposite corner, with Dymock hoisted up the ball for Buchanan to jump highest and celebrate the clincher as Martin banged over the conversion to extend the advantage to 14 points.

There was, however, still time for the Giants to score the try of the game.

A spilt London ball close to the home side's line was scooped up by O'Hare who danced his way through heavy traffic and burst into open space at electric pace.

With 30 metres remaining he then fed Marcus St Hilaire to finish off and for McNamara to convert.

It was too late to save the game, but it did at least light up what was otherwise a day of huge frustration.

TOUGH Giants prop Darren Fleary tried to inspire his side by producing several big hits as Huddersfield struggled to make a first-half impact. Unfortunately, his efforts were to prove in vain and the McAlpine men were left to reflect on a poor display.

KEY MOMENT

On-loan Leeds' winger Austin Buchanan's second try with nine minutes remaining gave the Broncos a 30-16 lead which was simply too great for the Giants to claw back. It was also London's third try from a high kick.
