A CLEAR highlight of the weekend trip to Harlequins was definitely the latest performance from our in-form Reserves.
Under their coach Andy Proctor, pictured right, they’re taking this season’s competition by storm.
Their big win at Quins made it three out of three to keep them at the top of the table.
And there is certainly no fluke about it.
The Reserves are playing some quality rugby league, with a number of the team pushing very hard for a place in the Super League side.
Against Harlequins, Leroy Cudjoe, pictured left, was once again outstanding.
While Stuart Jones and Tom Hemingway also maintained their very solid form.
It will come as no surprise to anyone, therefore, when I say their names are always brought up at the weekly selection meetings.
So far, they’ve had to be patient, waiting to get the nod.
But they all know their time will come.
We’re about to face the toughest time of the year with the Easter programme.
This is when the strength of your squad is tested to the full, and obviously the more quality players you have available, the better.
Right now, Leroy, Stuart and Tom have once again demonstrated they have the quality to step up and do a fantastic job.
