Pitch inspection

A PITCH inspection will take place later today ahead of tomorrow’s Giants v Wigan Reserve clash at Laund Hill (2.00).
The first-team field at Huddersfield YMCA is still extremely wet following the heavy rain, and so the game could be postponed as a precautionary measure.
The Giants had looked into the possibility of switching the fixture and playing it at Wigan’s reserve base at Orrell, but it is unavailable.
It would be a massive shame if the game was called off, with the Reserves having some real momentum behind them after three wins out of three.
