IT’S hard to think positively after a defeat like this.
But I did feel this was our best performance of the year, and I’m proud of the guys.
I wanted a response from the side after last week’s performance at Harlequins and I got it.
Our performance was good, but we still know we can improve.
And I was delighted with the way Leroy Cudjoe handled it.
I always knew he would hold his own at this level, because he has been fantastic in the reserves.
He made a great couple of plays for us in the game.
He came up with a fantastic tackle near our try-line, and some of his carries were excellent. I also thought he struck the ball really well, and he looks comfortable at this level.
