Key Giants duo eye Super Hull return

FIT-AGAIN Martin Aspinwall and John Skandalis are on the verge of a Giants’ Super League return.

The experienced duo are set to be included in coach Jon Sharp’s 19-man squad to face Hull FC at the KC Stadium on Sunday.

It would be the first game for Great Britain winger Aspinwall since suffering a serious knee injury against Warrington Wolves nine months ago, while top prop Skandalis, has missed his side’s last two games with a dead leg.

But Sharp has confirmed that both men could play this weekend if they come through this week’s training unscathed.

“They are very close,” he said.
