Jon Sharp's view

IT’S again disappointing to lose, but I felt it was a performance when every one of my players played well.

IT’S again disappointing to lose, but I felt it was a performance when every one of my players played well.

No-one could be accused of not giving it a go.

But I was particularly delighted for Martin Aspinwall, as I think everyone was.

I thought he made a fantastic return after so long on the sidelines with that dreadful knee injury.

He’s worked tremendously hard during his time out, and that clearly showed with what he did out there.

I’m sure he’s got a big couple of months ahead of him.

I also felt Jamahl Lolesi looked very strong running out wide and caused the Hull defence a lot of problems.

And Luke Robinson was a thorn in the side of their defence all game.
