IT’S obviously great to be in the draw for the quarter-final.

That was obviously the aim of this exercise.

And, in terms of the way we are developing, I believe this display shows we’re getting there, slowly but surely.

Ball control was a bit of an issue during the game, but I’ll put that down to the weather.

Overall I thought it was a very convincing display. The slow start is a little bit of an issue but we stayed composed and our kicking game was very good.

To be honest, I thought we were far more convincing than the final scoreline shows, because some of Huddersfield’s tries were fairly dubious.

But there were times in the game when they were a threat, especially early on through Hudson’s work around dummy-half.

We also struggled with their offloads at times, which is something we’ve got to think about next week when we play them at their place in the League.

But, hopefully, yesterday will stand us in good stead for then.
