Credit has to go to coaches

Yet in between we saw off Bradford Bulls and then produced a very solid performance in going down narrowly to a very good Warrington side.

Then finally there was the great win over Wigan.

This was down to a fantastic coaching effort to keep all the squad up for so long after a turbulent season, and one which needs to be applauded.

So, on behalf of all the Giants squad, I know it will be sad to see Kieron go, but we wish him all the best and hope he has a successful career in the near future.

On a another note, we finally welcome David Faiumu to the country and into the squad.

I think Dave has been in transit for about nine weeks, the pilot obviously took a wrong turn or a long cut, because I’ve never heard of a nine-week plane trip!

He comes to us with a wealth of Australian NRL and international experience as well, and he will prove invaluable to the Giants this year and next.

Also, I have to take a little time out to congratulate my best friend Kevin Brown who will wed his beautiful fiancée Kirsty in the off-season.

This is great news for Kev and Kirst and we wish them all the best in their forthcoming nuptials.

Finally, I would encourage Giants fans to come and support us in our final two home games of the season.

Let’s all get behind the Giants for the rest of the year and next under our new coach Nathan Brown.
