Gripping times for big Eorl Crabtree!

BIG Eorl Crabtree can’t wait to get to grips with Super League once again!

The 25-year-old prop, left, has missed his side’s last four top-flight fixtures after suffering a finger fracture in the first half of the defeat at St Helens.

But having now received the all-clear to return to competitive action, he is hoping to get the green light to play at Castleford Tigers tomorrow.

And he admits that being able to catch and pass a ball and tackle an opponent without feeling any great pain will come as a major relief.

“I never thought a fracture of the little finger of the right hand could be so painful!” he admitted

“I’ve had problems with tendons and ligaments in my hands many times before now, but the pain was nothing compare to this.

“As soon as I picked up the injury at Saints I knew it was worse than normal, but because of the adrenalin I managed to carry on all game.
