This is my dream move: Giants sign Lunt
HUDDERSFIELD Giants have signed Workington Town hooker Shaun Lunt on a three-year Super League contract.
The 21-year-old hooker was the National League Young Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007 and has joined for an undisclosed fee.
During his time in his native Cumbria, his strike rate was a superb 57 tries in just 73 appearances, and Giants managing director Richard Thewlis believes they have recruited a player with immense potential.
"Our club has followed Shaun’s progress for a number of years and he is very highly rated," he said.
