Giant Lunt will take second chance

SHAUN LUNT is hoping it’s second time lucky when he embarks on a Super League career at the Giants.
The 21-year-old former Workington Town hooker last week signed a three-year Galpharm deal.
Lunt had hoped to carve out a top-flight career at Castleford when he moved to the Tigers as a 16-year-old.
But despite playing a number of National League games which helped Castleford earn promotion to Super League, Lunt was released in 2005.
He admitted the decision came as a major blow, but having spent three highly successful years at Workington – he was twice named National League Young Player of the Year – he believes he’s now ready to finally seize a Super League chance.
