England experience a massive honour: Griffin

DARRELL GRIFFIN will put the big disappointment of missing out on a World Cup trip to Australia behind him and wear the England shirt with pride in tonight’s one-off Test against Wales at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium (7.35).
The in-form Giants prop, right, is poised to earn his third England cap as part of a squad which also includes Galpharm teammate David Hodgson.
Both players will start on the bench, although it is expected they will be given a fair amount of game time.
And Griffin believes a successful run-out tonight will help ease the pain of missing out on what would have been a dream trip Down Under.
“After training so hard to try and make the trip to the World Cup, it’s obviously a massive disappointment when you’re told you won’t be going,” he said.
