Beating Bulls was so special for everyone

How pleased were you with the win and the performance at Bradford Bulls?
We were certainly happy with the effort.
But as a team we all know there’s still work to be done and some areas that need to be improved.
We definitely won the game with our defence, while attack-wise we have to be pleased with the fact we took three of the four chances that came our way.
Against St Helens we created more opportunities, but we failed to take them. That wasn’t the case against Bradford and everyone should be happy about that.
How much pleasure did you take from the fact it was Huddersfield’s first League win at Bradford for 40 years?
Personally, I’ve not been here that long, so just getting two points was pleasing!
As a coaching staff, the biggest thing was the fact the team put themselves in a position to win the match, after having no field position.
But for the club to break the hoodoo was good, particularly as it was achieved against such good opposition and we had to jump over some hurdles to get there.
I suppose this win was probably appreciated as much by the fans as anyone, because some of them will have been there for those 40 years and seen the losses, so to finally see a win will have made them very happy. That obviously pleases me.
