“And I think it’ll be a good test.
“They’ve got some fine players and are a good team, and we know they are going to be very dangerous.
“Richie Myler has shown up really well so far and Malcolm Alker is very good down the middle for them so we know we are in for a tough encounter.”
Finnigan has made an effective contribution in both attack and defence, having scored five tries so far.
But even though he is happy with the start he has made to his Giants career, he admits the side are still seeking a lot of improvement.
“There’s still a lot more to come from us, we certainly haven’t been at our best in the last month or so,” he added.
“We’re making a lot of errors in games and, as a result, we are having to do more tackling than we should be.
“I think that once we cut that aspect out of our game we will be a lot more dangerous and there will be plenty more to come from us.
“Nathan is just asking for us to be consistent each week in both training and matches, and if we manage to do that then we will see where we end up at the end of the season.”
