Lolesi column: We’re all so single-minded
May 16 2009 by Roy Wright, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
HI, it’s Jammer here.
A win in the Challenge Cup and a home tie against Castleford is not at all bad and gives us a good chance for a shot at a semi-final.
And I believe this tie should produce our biggest turn-out of the year.
While our support this year has been phenomenal, this game has so much importance that we’re going to need to draw on our home support to get us through.
So let’s hope everybody supports the town of Huddersfield as this massive game approaches.
Now back to the inside juice.
It has come to my attention that, of late, I have been copping a bit of flak for not flying the single bachelor flag for the team.
Well, just be rest assured, it’s not just been flying, it’s actually been flapping away in the wind.
To those in the know, this has always been the case and, for the young single lasses of Huddersfield, there could well be a few more Giants revealing themselves in the singles’ market in the coming weeks as summer approaches. It’s funny how all these young metro men are becoming now available, although their identities remain under wraps.
