Giants ace Danny Kirmond delighted at four-year deal

Under coach Brown’s command, Kirmond has been a regular in the side and has started five of the last seven games.

That’s a sign of how highly Brown rates the youngster, and the Galpharm chief is delighted Kirmond has pledged his future to the club.

“Danny is a very exciting prospect,” said Brown.

“The club found him playing on the wing for Featherstone, so it was a very good signing at that time.

“Danny’s got good speed and footwork, and he can beat people, which is pretty important for a back rower.

“He is going to continue improving, and he’s still got a long way to go if he wants to fulfil his potential.

“As each game comes, Danny can develop into a very good player.”
