“Although recent performances have been disappointing, this season has been pretty positive for us as a team, but it’s been fairly frustrating for me. I missed two games with a dislocated finger and then suffered the knee injury.

“Hopefully, the injuries are now behind me and I can look forward to a more positive spell in the team, like I’ve been able to do over the past few seasons.”

Raleigh is delighted to be back in business against the Wildcats, but he knows this weekend’s assignment will be challenging.

“I’ve never known an easy game at Wakefield. They’re always hard,” he added.

Huddersfield’s Super League home game against Castleford on Sunday, June 21, will now be on Friday (June 19) and shown live on Sky TV.
