Giants chief Brown wants his side to be executioners

“If we are able to do that, then we’re all confident we can start to turn things around again.

“Obviously, we’re hoping we can do that in time for this weekend’s game at Wakefield.”

Although the Giants head to Belle Vue still lack the services of inspirational captain Brett Hodgson, Brown welcomes back powerful forward duo Andy Raleigh and Darrell Griffin.

Second-rower Raleigh has been out for six weeks with a knee injury, while prop Griffin missed the Salford game with a leg problem.

What roles they will play this weekend remain to be seen.

But Brown is grateful to have these two strong competitors back in the fold.

“With these two back, we’ve got some very strong options in the pack,” said Brown.

“It’s going to be another strong battle in the forwards, and obviously the more options we’ve got the better.

“That battle in the middle is so important.”
