Castleford Tigers coach to face big RFL rap?
May 25 2009 by Chris Roberts, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
“Last week, again, we got tackled in the air, no penalty. Two tackles later they get a penalty and go the other end of the field and score. I don’t know if they know the rules. It is the third week in a row we have been absolutely jammed.”
Rovers led only 4-0 at half-time courtesy of a Peter Fox try but Kirk Dixon might have replied had Hewer agreed he had been impeded in-goal just before the break.
Mitchell Sargent did pull one back for the Tigers but Briscoe efforts early and late in the second half settled the game.
Matterson added: “I couldn’t ask for any more from the boys, they were fantastic.
“We have been for the last three losses as well. We just have to keep going like that, keep defending like that and we will get the results.Other circumstances are costing us big time, and that is taking nothing away from what was a really tough game and they (Hull KR) are a good side.
“We’d like the rub of the green.”
