Giants shining show is great tonic

TRIUMPHANT Giants coach Nathan Brown is confident yesterday’s stunning 54-6 Super League win at Wakefield will be no false dawn.
Huddersfield rediscovered their top early-season form to destroy their hosts and record their biggest away win in Super League.
It was just a second League victory in their last five top-flight fixtures and moved the Giants back up to fourth in the League standings.
Yesterday’s stunning 10-try triumph over Trinity also helped erase the bitter memory of last week’s shock home defeat to Salford and puts Huddersfield in excellent heart ahead of Sunday’s big home Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-final clash against Castleford Tigers.
And Brown is delighted his side will be going into that contest with some solid momentum.
“Most clubs go through a slight dip during a season, and let’s hope we’ve now come out of ours,” said Brown.
“But I’m confident we have.
