Giants shining show is great tonic

“Our training has always been designed for us to come good around Challenge Cup quarter-final time, which is where we are now.
“So we obviously hope to build on this Wakefield win and make sure we continue from where we left off when we’re up against Castleford.”
Winger David Hodgson led the way with his second hat trick of the year as the Giants secured their biggest win of the season.
And Brown believed it was his side’s early defensive work which paved the way for the win.
“We discovered a lot of resolve in defence,” he added.
“Wakefield can score points and a lot of penalties went their way early in the game.
“To defend the way we did and finish them off in the second half was really pleasing.
“One to 17 contributed really well. I don’t think there was anyone who didn’t come up with something positive.”
