LEROY CUDJOE put in a quality performance in yesterday’s stunning 54-6 Super League win at Wakefield and admitted: “This was an awesome feeling!”

The 20-year-old former Newsome Panthers junior was one of a number of Huddersfield players to bounce back spectacularly from the nightmare home defeat to Salford the week before.

Despite being given a rough ride against the City Reds as the full-back replacement to injured skipper Brett Hodgson, Cudjoe kept his place against the Wildcats.

And he couldn’t have been happier with the way the events unfolded.

“After the way things went last week, this game was just awesome,” he enthused.

“To come to Wakefield and get any sort of win is great, but to do it in the manner we did yesterday was fantastic.

“And I think the performance, as well as the win, was even sweeter because of what happened against Salford.
