"The last couple of weeks have been awful, but I’ve had my fitness test, came through it 100% and I’m now counting down to being a part of what will be a massive game for the club.

"One of the reasons I decided to move over here from Australia was to get the chance to play in the final stages of the Challenge Cup, because it’s got such a tremendous history, and tomorrow I’ll be doing just that.

"But I know we can go even further in the competition, and hopefully all the way. The boys are all buoyed by such a good performance at Wakefield, and the mood in training has been fantastic all week.

"Everyone has been working with great intensity, enthusiasm and energy, and if we can take this into tomorrow’s game we’ll give ourselves an excellent chance."
