Castleford would go ‘berserk’ if the Giants are beaten
McGoldrick expects a fierce battle with the back-to-form Giants, and he knows only his side’s very best form will be good enough.
"We’ve had a pretty good year considering we finished bottom of the table last season," he added.
"We’ve shown we’ve improved’ and that’s credit to the franchise system.
"There have been only three games where we've been comprehensively beaten, the rest have just been two or four-point defeats.
"We’ve played Huddersfield twice if you include the pre-season friendly.
"The Super League game we had was one that we look back on and think we should have won.
"Looking at their form, they were pretty hot against Wakefield, so we'll have to match them."
