Homegrown Huddersfield players will lead Giants charge
Jun 5 2009 by Chris Roberts, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
"They both played last time out against Hull KR at Craven Park on Easter Monday and did a really good job to help us secure an excellent win (30-8), so they should be coming in feeling confident.
"Leroy has been playing some really good football and there is now more to his game than just running strongly and supporting. He’s developing more of a passing and kicking game, and he filled in well for Brett the other week.
"He is definitely a very talented player , and the more he believes in the talent he’s got, the better player he’ll become.
"That’s also the case with Bruno (Lawrence), who will be keen to get back out there and do well after being rested for the last few weeks.
"He was playing very well before Jammer came into the centres as an experienced player, and I know he’ll make the most of his chance".
Added Brown: "Knowing they’ll be featuring again has given them a lift, just like Eorl and Andy have been given a lift.
“Eorl’s obviously feeling very good about his England call and can’t wait to get back out there tonight on the back of it, while Andy’s confidence has grown after making such a successful return from injury. I’m sure this will be reflected in the performance tonight.”
Apart from the re-calls for Cudjoe and Lawrence, on-loan Wigan back-rower Lee Mossop is also poised for a return after being Cup-tied against Castleford.
He produced an excellent debut against Wakefield and is expected to continue the good work tonight.
