The two injured players in question were second-row forward, Danny Kirmond who has been sent to hospital for X-rays on a cheekbone injury and David Faiumu with a groin strain.
Even though Brown felt victory was achieved by a top team effort, he was particularly pleased for front-row duo Scott Moore and Eorl Crabtree, who celebrated their England call-ups in style.
“Scotty’s only 20 and to be hooker for your country at that age is quite an achievement,” added Brown.
“Eorl has been great for us all year. I’m delighted for both of them, particularly after the way they played last night.”
