I’m happy to step aside – for now says Giants' Leroy

LEROY CUDJOE is bracing himself to lose his spot for Sunday’s Super League trip to Leeds Rhinos.
But the 21-year-old rising Giants star admits that if it means fellow full-back Brett Hodgson takes his place, he’s more than happy to accept the decision.
Huddersfield’s inspirational goalkicking captain is set to return for the clash at the reigning Super League champions after missing Friday’s 22-6 home triumph over Hull KR with a knee injury.
The change at full-back is ready to be made despite Cudjoe producing another excellent display in the victory over the Robins when he picked up the sponsors’ man-of-the-match award in the process.
But the former Newsome Panthers junior is prepared to go along with the decision.
“You do find it hard when you’re dropped, especially if you think you’re playing well,” said Cudjoe.
“That happened to me the other week, and it could happen again this weekend. I thought I went well at Wakefield and then had to step down for Brett, and even though I was generally happy with the way I played against Hull KR it could be the same again at Leeds.
“But even though it’s disappointing, I do fully understand. Nathan (Brown) always explains the reasons behind his decisions.
“And I always knew that when we signed someone like Brett my chances at full-back would be limited.
“He came here with a massive reputation, and I can see why. He’s an awesome player and I’ve learned so much off him in the time he’s been here.
