Giants coach backs Lunt role against Leeds

“We’ve got the option of taking some of the pressure off Shaun by putting Luke Robinson in at nine for a spell, which is something we’re now able to do with Liam Fulton back after injury and able to fit in at half-back.

“But whatever combinations we choose, we know we have the ability – and the belief – to go to Leeds and give it a very good go.”

Although there’s still a slight fitness doubt over Faiumu, Brown has not ruled him out 100%.

“Fuey’s had a good run over the past five or six weeks, and the more he plays the better he gets,” added Brown. “But it’s not the end of the world if he doesn’t make it.

“We may have definitely lost Danny Kirmond to injury (fractured cheekbone) and Eorl and Scotty to England, but Brett Hodgson’s back and Simon Finnigan is also fresh after having last weekend off.”
