Playing is my sold focus – fit-again Giant Fulton

The process of getting his Giants’ Super League career on track gets under way tomorrow when he makes a return to action at champions Leeds Rhinos.

It’s clearly a tough re-introduction to life in the Huddersfield ranks, although he is thoroughly relishing the challenge.

“It certainly beats having to be up doing my rehab work with Greg Brown at 7.30 every morning!” he added.

“That was incredibly tough, and not being able to play and train with the rest of the boys made it even harder, even though they did try and involve me as much as they possible could.

“But that’s behind me now and I can look forward to tomorrow.

“There aren’t really many tougher games than Leeds Rhinos away, because they have been one of the top clubs in the 14 years of Super League.

“But these are the games you want to play in, and I know it’ll be a fantastic feeling when I step back out onto the competitive field this weekend.”
