Giants hooker Scott boosted by Paris match

GIANTS hooker Scott Moore is hoping his England experience will prove a big bonus for himself and Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old made his debut for the national team in the 66-12 thumping of France in Paris and he aims to put the trip to good use.
“It was a great experience and it helps sometimes to work in a different environment.
“The preparation was not too much different in training terms, but you have got to learn how to work with players who are new to you.
“At club level you become very aware of each others strengths and weaknesses, but playing with England was all about learning about the players you are working with.
“It was great to be alongside the likes of Jamie Peacock and Adrian Morley, and it was a privilege to be coached by Tony Smith.
“He has a different way of doing things to Nathan Brown and I really enjoyed getting the chance to learn something new.
“I suppose the French were not as strong a side as they might have been, but you can only play what is in front of you.
“We went out there to do a professional job and I felt that we played well and did the job that we went to do.”
And having received his first call Moore wants more, but concedes selection will be based on his form at club level.
“Obviously I want to be involved again, but all I can do is concentrate on doing my best for Huddersfield and if I can keep my form at a high standard then I can only hope that will be enough to get more recognition.
